Words are the only element that connects us as humans. They are symbols that allow minds to evoke ideas and emotions in the mind of others. Humans are social creatures and we place a great deal of value on the thoughts and actions of those around us, seeking to influence them in our preferred direction.
One interesting study led by a psychologist, John Bargh, focused on using words as primers. Primers consist mostly of power words that get people to think in a certain direction.
In this video, we’ll explore a few categories of power words that are being used in our daily lives, which could impact and influenced our thoughts and decision making.
